Media for Inclusive Green Growth: Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN) in collaboration with Internews is working for media for inclusive green growth. This project aims to strengthen the media’s capacity to provide evidence-based public information, to promote citizen contribution in media on green growth and natural resource governance, and to raise the voices of vulnerable and marginalized groups. Under this project, AFN will conduct a three-day workshop for 20 social media influencers on fact-checking and journalism skills. The workshop will enhance their skills in collecting and verifying information of public interest, such as natural resources and the environment, and produce and broadcast 36 episodes of radio programs in collaboration with its network of  22 radio stations across Nepal. The programs will encourage citizens to share how they are impacted by and address environmental changes and facilitate questions and answers by relevant experts and government authorities. Also, ​​​​​​​AFN will conduct consultative discussion meetings with environmental experts, journalists, and social influencers during the production and broadcasting of radio programs to prioritize issues, approaches, and promotion of the media campaigns.
