Sambidhan Shabha ko Bahas was a weekly radio discussion programme that addresses issues associated with the anticipated constituent assembly. The radio program aimed to educate the voters on constituent assembly with comparative examples from different countries and the process drafting of a new constitution. It also covered an analysis of the 1990 constitution, the fundamentals and principles of constituent assembly and the process of selecting representatives as well as the drafting of a new constitution.
The program ran 52 episodes, each 30 minute in length, and was aired through a network of 25 independent radio stations nationwide. The financial partner was National Endowment for Democracy (NED). |
